Wednesday Night Critique

We are using a read-aloud format. If you wish to have your work critiqued, please bring a short piece or chapter (about 3-5 double-spaced pages) to read out loud to the group. It can be any genre, including non-fiction or poetry.

You don't have to read - you can show up to listen and critique or just listen. We don't have set time limits on critiques - all we ask is that you be mindful of how many readers are reading after you so that everyone gets a chance to read.

Next week (2/21/14) is CHWG-PDX's first anniversary, where is the party being held? Thanx again JD for this wonderful venue.

Sorry I won't be able to make it. I will try next week. I just moved here from Illinois the other day and haven't had a chance to take a breather.

Haven't done anything like this before and want to try something new. Is there usually a good turn out?

We usually get about 15 people, not everybody reads, but we encourage critiques.

Yes, Jon, especially for bike-ride'n winos... luck of the Irish! You deserve extra points for finding that room!

Excellent reads & tiques in that gorgeous facility, and the apres-MU was excellent as well.

I especially enjoyed last night's readings and critiques. What a fun group. . .and it was great meeting Peyton. We were fortunate this exciting weather we're having today didn't start one day earlier!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
