SJAA Star Party and Astronomy Class

There are two events: Beginners class, star party. Read on.

==Public Star Party==
The SJAA will be holding a public star party from about 9:3-PM to midnight. Summer showy objects are on tap. Come with a telescope, or just bring your eyes!

==Beginners Classes==
Kid friendly beginning astronomy class starts at 8:30PM and lasts about an hour, maybe just a little more. Topics include constellations, planets and other interesting objects that are up in the night sky right now. Mixture of mythology and science.

Bring your friends, family and neighbors, it's fun and it's cheap (means free)!

    The beginners class was also a hit, despite the heat in the Hall at Houge. Mark did a great job talking about what's up in the sky in these clear summer months!

    Nice turn out tonight, the warm weather brought people out the star party. I showed some nice views of the Coat Hanger, Lagoon, Omega and Eagle Nebulae
