A.C.T.! is calling all American Patriots to action to take our government back from the corrupt career politicians in Washington. The need for citizen involvement in government reform has never been greater!

WE THE PEOPLE now face the merciless fury of a brutal Perfect Storm:

Record unemployment, economic recession, reckless government spending, trillion-dollar budget deficits, financial system collapse, housing foreclosures, dollar devaluation, corporate bailouts, foreign wars, government corruption, health care reforms, illegal immigration... the list goes on.

The litany of problems our nation must solve to restore sanity, opportunity and prosperity for all has energized the American People to organize ourselves into activist groups like never before in our history. The Tea Party Movement is a shining example, but they all lack a coherent focus for action.

The question is, what can we as citizens actually accomplish without any real power in government?

According to Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, only Congress has the authority to pass laws, to levy taxes, to borrow money, to print money, and to spend money... and most importantly, only Congress itself has the power to govern the acts of Congress.

So, if Congress has the sole authority to exercise these powers of government, what must we as citizens do to have our voices heard, our questions answered and our problems solved?

First and foremost, we must fundamentally reform Congress to restore real representation, accountability and control in our government to the American People. Nothing else we can do will have greater impact!

Congress is supposed to represent us, but is now charting its own course.

Without taking this first crucial step to restore our voices in our own governance we can never hope to successfully overcome our nation’s many serious problems.
