I am Dennis Kelly a retired educator having taught in elementary, middle school, and as an adjunct instructor at Kent State University. I have ridden since 1970 but have only ridden scooters since 2010. I enjoy the experience more with every ride.

A ride to Bowling Green sounds good. Have you looked at the county roads that go that way? I took my son on a bicycle ride to Kelly's Island a number of years ago and found some good county roads in that direction. Either way, I like Bowling Green as a destination and hope I can join you when you post the ride on the web site.
I taught 5th grade for 15 years,7th & 8th grade math for 11 years, and then retired from the public schools.

HI Dennis,

Your history is similar to mine. I taught elementary in Akron, then Junior High and after retirement ended up at Stark State running their massage therapy program.
