Sometimes you just want to enjoy a good meal and watch a movie. And then talk the hell out of it afterwards. I want to meet anyone who is interested in catching a flick either during the week or over the weekend and want to talk about it over some food. And don't worry, you don't have to prepay me or anyone else for tickets or to save a spot or answer a million questions to get in the group. There's enough stress in the world, why add to it? We're a group of movie-lovers who just want to hang and catch a flick with other laid-back and fun people. There won't be any specific genre we'll be sticking to, just any new, exciting, interesting, domestic and foreign, creative, hyped, talked-about or winning films!

Movie Tickets and Meeting Up Rules (yeah, it's long, but please read it):
Buy your own ticket. I will post a link to purchase the tickets as soon as they are available if you want to purchase them in advance.

Exact Times and Location Will Be Confirmed Each Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning. All theaters confirm movie times by Tuesday evenings. So, EXACT movie times will be posted Tuesday night or Wednesday. So please wait for the updates before asking questions on the conversation board. All listed movie times before Tuesday are estimated times for when we may see the movie. This will be confirmed to an exact showtime on Tuesday night/Wednesday.

The listed time is the movie time, not the meeting up time - the meetup time is usually an hour earlier so check the summary box for details. Dinner or brunch usually follows the movie. Check the summary box for details on location which will be confirmed and updated a few days before the meetup.

Meetups are almost always in Manhattan with occasional exceptions on the weekends to downtown Brooklyn.

Confirm theater locations before heading out. Also note, exact meetup locations within the theater will be posted. Once there, if you do not think you see anyone don't worry, we will find you. We hold up signs, walk around, call out for members and post on the conversation board. Unless you are plugging your ears and closing your eyes, there is no reason you won't be able to find us unless you get there much later than the meet up time and don't let us know about it. After all, how the heck are we suppose to find you if you make it a point to not be there on time and then not let us know about it. Anyway, we try very hard not to leave a member behind.

If you are running late - please post it on the conversation board and we will save you a seat.
Dinner
Part of the moving-going experience is the discussion afterwards, made especially better with good food and drinks! NYC has so much to offer in terms of food so we will try to find tasty and unique restaurants to try - it's like two meetups in one~!
So, what are you waiting for? Come and have fun with us~!
