We are interested in fostering informal creative outlets for neighborhood musicians and performers, and have begun partnering with two of them (Eupraxia and Cowboy Opera), to create interesting performances.
The events are meant to be part performance, part socializing, with space within the performance for getting to know each other with the music comfortable enough for conversation.
Mixing Welsh readings of Dylan Thomas with Bob Dylan and other music? Who would do that? But it's through these sorts of interactions, with musicians and performers who normally don't play together, that we hope to foster excitement for the artists in the city, who practice in various apartment buildings--bring them together and let's see what happens!
