All girls need a great group of friends...

The goal of this group is to bring together a group girls to make new friends, new memories, and have a lot of fun along the way. It is open to women between the ages of 28-35 who are open to doing a lot of fun random events. Hopefully, we can get together for a glass of wine to discuss a good book, go bowling, catch a movie, and whatever other activities we choose. There are so many activities to do in the area year around. Potentially, the group would like to inspire a small group of women for a close friendship.

I know how difficult it can be for girls to make new friends. I moved to the Chicagoland area a couple of years ago and have found it incredibly difficult to meet girls that have similar instrests. I have found that I either meet girls that are desperately single or making a new family. I am in a serious relationship, so I have no interest in "picking up" guys. But we are not having kids either. I am hoping to bring together a group of girls to make lasting friendships.

Membership is currently open.  My hope for the group is that us girls can make some close friends for life.  I feel that if the group gets too big, I will close membership. 

Just a note about membership:

If a member RSVP's to an event and is a no show or does not change their RSVP to "not attending" prior to the date that RSVPing closes three times, they will be removed from the group without a refund for membership dues.  Many events will have an attendance limit, so please be respectful of others and leave a seat open if you do not plan on attending an event.  I do also understand that there are times when this cannot be avoided.  If that is the case, just send me a message so I don't delete a potentially great friend.
