Would anyone like to join me in a 9 day fast?

We will be juicing, fasting & meditating.

No Meat

No Dairy

No Starch

No GMO

We will stay focus on what we will eat. If you have a live food recipes please post it.

 

We can look good on the outside.

    What are GMOs?
    GMOs, or “genetically modified organisms,” are plants or animals that have been genetically engineered with DNA from bacteria, viruses or other plants and animals. These experimental combinations of genes from different species cannot occur in nature or in traditional crossbreeding.

    Virtually all commercial GMOs are engineered to withstand direct application of herbicide and/or to produce an insecticide. Despite biotech industry promises, none of the GMO traits currently on the market offer increased yield, drought tolerance, enhanced nutrition, or any other consumer benefit.

    Meanwhile, a growing body of evidence connects GMOs with health problems, environmental damage and violation of farmers’ and consumers’ rights.

    Creamy Mushroom Soup

    This recipe is from my Avocado Smoothie book and is definitely one of my favorites!

    Ingredients:

    2-3 cups water
    2 cups mushrooms; variety of crimini, portobello and shitake or chose one
    Trim stems of mushrooms, chop and set aside. Will be used as garnish.
    1/3 cup yellow onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    ½ cup cashews, soaked (If you are on a cleanse leave out)
    ¼ - ½ cup avocado
    1 ½ cup marjoram or thyme
    1/2 tsp sea salt
    1/4 cup leek, opt
    Optional garnish: hot chili oil
    Directions:

    Blend In a high-speed blender for best results. Let the soup get warm.

    Pour into serving bowl and add chopped mushroom stems, chopped parsley and a dash of pepper.

    Start to wean yourself off (sugar, coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, and other stimulants ), meats, fish, and dairy. It is easy to say your going to do this, but are you really ready? Some are!!!! Be accountable to yourself. For some of us this can be life changing. Just remember this is your fast. If you just give up sweets, you did something. We can always push to do more, just stay focus. Don't forget to exercise, a 30 minute walk, if you only do 10 minutes, pat yourself on the back. I am elated that everyone wants to make a healthy change in their life. Thank you in advance for helping me and all who are apart of this journey.

This will allow you to proceed with a stronger focus and reduce the possibility of getting off track or becoming sidelined by unexpected challenges. You’ll know what you need to do and can focus on doing it.

If we can take just a few moments to come up with a strong, detailed plan, we can pursue our goals with greater focus because we have a clear objective in mind. This gives us the confidence and clarity to overcome challenges that may arise. As you pursue your goals today, consider and plan for your desired outcome, and you will be able to more easily achieve your ambition.
