'A Living Family' is 2 mamas (and their husbands and children) providing support in PA and now NJ for natural, traditional and gentle parenting ideas and practices. Our foundation is trust: in our bodies, our intuition and our children.

At our Meetups we discuss topics of interest: informed/natural/home birth, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding with love and respect, baby-led solids and child-led weaning, babywearing, gentle discipline, alternative schooling (Montessori, Waldorf, RIE, Reggio-Emilia, forest schools, Sudbury/democratic, homeschooling, unschooling), healthful eating, holistic health and medicine (whole/organic foods, supplements, herbs, homeopathy, essential oils, chiropractic, acupuncture), informed vaccination choice, equally shared parenting, creating a simple lifestyle, radical homemaking (including handwork/crafting), and Earth-conscious living.

Our goals are:
To help and support expectant parents and all caregivers inform and empower themselves
To provide information and connections to resources
To create community and foster relationships among families
