I am interested in education, as a citizen, a parent, as a teacher myself (albeit as a volunteer, rather than as a professional), and as someone appalled and dismayed by the campaign against science education in this country and abroad in particular.

Thank you, Chris!
Sure, you can make an Assistant Organizer, although no guarantees. I am and have been an Organizer and an Assistant Organizer, for several other MeetUp groups. I am looking into other venues, to continue my discussion workshop, from The International Center In New York (ICNY).
Thanks, Chris. It would be nice, but I don't have the time in my schedule. I work weekdays and two to three nights a week on Long Island with my own classes. I thought I could on occasion participate in informal chats with students, but I can't commit to something more regular at this time. I'm sorry to hear the center is closing.
I'd like to present. See free ebook "Alternative to Darwinism & Creationism Based on Free Will." https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/...![]()

Hi Chris!! So glad you joined. It's so important to have as many perspectives as possible in our discussions. Also, as you probably observed, we have a lot of fun when we get together. Can't wait to see you on March 20th at Swift for the next meetup!
Sincerely,
Caroline

Chris - I enjoyed our conversation. I will let you know if Roger Penrose is invited back to give a lecture at the AMNH.
