Come to the L'il Black Dress Party! Ladies, it's Spring and time to pull out the little black dresses... Get all glam'd up, and make heads turn as we arrive in a pack...

We'll be partaking of the great Friday Relief Menu Specials. Two cocktails and an appetizer (from a special pre-selected menu) for only $15 (normally a cocktail runs about 10 bucks a piece, so this is a heck of a deal!

(Friday, April 30, 2010; 6:00 pm)(restaurant opens at 5:30 if you care to arrive early)

Opera (in the South Loop)
1301 S Wabash
Chicago, IL 60605

(312)[masked]

We will be meeting in the bar area and probably have some tables reserved as well...

I have requested that they present us with separate checks.

Cuisine: Upscale Asian (Chinese with Modern Presentations)
Dress: Casual Fine Dining

Expect an interesting, ongoing display of food fireworks. Opera is housed in an old film warehous. (if you decide to return and romance is on the menu, you can plan ahead and reserve one of the film storage vaults, which were converted into cozy dining nooks.) The main space is an open room--broken only by a staircase in the middle. Posh velvet drapes swag the area and red makes it pop with visual excitement throughout the room. The ambitious menu sparkles with variety! Watch the hustle and bustle as your food gets prepared in the open kitchen. The food is fantastic, without being outrageously priced (something sometimes hard to find in the downtown area)
