RA101 Summer Week 10 Session 1

Hey Snails!

Those of you out there Saturday in the heat tore through 4 miles - no sweat!!  It was hot, but fun to be out there with all the 1/2 and full marathon runners.  Even tried out the new muscle roller at an aide station!

Tonight, we'll be back at GWC track for our 200M repeats.  Run 200M - 5 minute rest X 3

It's supposed to cool off the beginning of the week, so hopefully it will by Tuesday.  How are your muscles feeling as we have increased your interval ratio?  If anything is sore, remember the 3 day rule.  Ice, compression and elevation.  Let me know if you need to discuss anything else on this topic.

Continue your RFT exercises as this is where the dirt meets the road. 

Are you hydrating?  Before and after hydration is extremely important to maintain your fitness. And, by now you should know what fuel works for you before and after a run.  Keep it light (protein/carb) before and be sure to include protein after your workout.
