Nice run Saturday, as you know the intensity of the training runs continue to increase and as usual you are all handling the challenges like true runners. When the training runs get tough.... the tough get running. :-) For our next training run we will meet at the Rose Bowl at 6:00 am, it will our Naughty Nine Miler. So if your not there your not naughty.
Our training schedule for the week is;
Sunday the 8th - Recover
Monday the 9th - 4 Miles + 20 Minutes of Foundation Training
Tuesday the 10th - Off
Wednesday the 11th - 4 Miles
Thursday the 12th - 35 Minutes of Foundation Training
Friday the 13th - Off
Saturday the 14th - The Naughty Nine Miler (Rose Bowl)
The schedule for the following week will be;
Sunday the 15th - Recover
Monday the 16th - 4 Miles + 20 Minutes of Foundation Training
Tuesday the 17th - Off
Wednesday the 18th - 4 Miles
Thursday the 19th - 35 Minutes of Foundation Training
Friday the 20th - Off
I can't stress this enough, the weather is getting hotter and the training runs are getting more intense so make sure your hydrating during the week before Saturday's run. Keep water by you all day long, eat fruit that has juice like Grapes, Peach's, Watermelon and Oranges. They can help keep you hydrated too.
