Foundation training not only facilitates your running it is the number one thing you can do for your health, fitness and appearance because it increases the amount of muscle on your body. All the effort you spend on foundation training will get you closer to that lean, toned look you want.
However don’t be fooled that you can eat anything now that you are running and foundation training. If you fall into this trap you are throwing away your hard-earned work. Most people overestimate how many calories they burn as well as underestimate how many calories they eat. Talk about a fattening combo. For best results, maintain a calorie-controlled diet filled with fresh, wholesome ingredients in addition to a regular, challenging foundation training routine.

Thursday - Foundation Train 25 minutes
Friday - Rest
Saturday - 40 min @ 2 min run/3 min walk ratio
Sunday - Walk
