Barrel tasting and food pairing

Experience a barrel tasting, paired with food expertly prepared by a chef.

This is a rare opportunity to taste wine from the barrel before it has been bottled. We will eating heavy appetizers and tasting several wines, the winemaker will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the wine.

Grande River Winery is offering this very special opportunity to our group members. Usually they don't offer barrel tastings and when they do, it is much more expensive. Tickets will sell out early. Please buy them now!

It was really fun to hear more suggestions on this subject. The chef did an excellent job in her food preparations.

Will wine be available for purchase? @ a discount?

    December 13, 2012

    • Kathy R.

A discount will be offered to our group for today only. I don't know if it will apply to the wine, or just the food and accessories in the tasting room.

Does anyone know about the balsamic vinegar and flavored olive oils at Sprigs and Sprouts ([masked] for more into)? They are open Sat. 12/15 from 10-4. We will be in their neighborhood :)

Patricia, I haven't heard of them. That would make a great place to stop by after our event.

Is anyone driving from Orchard Mesa that wouldn't mind a passenger?

    December 10, 2012

    • Bob M.

Hi Patricia... My name is Bob and I'll be coming up from Montrose... I could go through Orchard Mesa if you'd like a ride.

Hi Bob, I will have to leave directly from work. You can go directly to Palisade fr. hwy 50 rather than going to Orchard Mesa. Thanks.
