Introduction
My name is Diana and I was diagnosed with type two diabetes at the age of 18. Five years later I am taking control of my diabetes and am even volunteering for the American Diabetes Association in the hopes of some day finding a cure for this disease!

My family has a history with diabetes and I have lost both my grandfather and aunt to diabetes. Not to mention I was diagnosed at 18 with diabetes and have been taking care of myself ever since to delay the consequences of such a terrible diease.
What would you like to experience from this group and how often would you like to meet?
We will be meeting every saturday at 8 am starting August 21st, 2010 for an hour walk and will alternate between National City and Chula Vista
