Wellness Wednesday Virtual MeetUp

At A2C2, we believe your health is your wealth. We also believe that all of us, whether Couch Potato or Olympic Athlete, can and should improve our health. Further, we know that probably 60 to 70 of our 407 Members are in the Health and Wellness Industry, and have great knowledge services, products, programs, and health tips to share with the rest of us.
Many of you will recall our Wellness Workshop With Wine, this past September, as well as our Healthy Networking MeetUps that we have done from time to time.
This NEW Virtual MeetUp Series adds a cool dimension to the Wellness topic, whereby we will meet in Virtual Reality, share what we're doing, or trying to do to improve our health, and A2C2 Members who are in the industry will help moderate the discussion, and offer their insights to benefit everyone in the group who RSVP's to our virtual event.
This First, Kick-off event will focus on health improvement goals. You'll get the opportunity to share your goals, whether it's to lose weight, run your first 5K, run a triathalon, walk 10,000 steps a day, whatever.
Getting support and tips from others is good. Accountability to the group and from the group is also good. This will be a fun event, you can participate from wherever you are, and we will see where it leads.
The basic idea is to focus on your health each Wednesday, share what you're doing, or want to do. Pose any questions you might have in the event comments section, and see where it goes. Lets improve our health, have some fun, and celebrate our successes at our in-person MeetUps.

    Healthwise, I had a great time at the Color Run this past Saturday, and was inspired by seeing a lot of folks out there who, without a doubt, did not exercise much, but hey, they got out there, and did their best. Next up for me, a Yoga class today, and just signed up for the Firecracker 5K on July 4 in downtown Ann Arbor. I hope you all have a happy and healthy day!

    So, the purpose of these WW Virtual MeetUps is at act mostly as a mid-week personal accountability check-in regarding your health, nutrition, and exercise goals and plans. If you need help getting started, or keeping going, we have professionals in the group willing to help, and fellow members willing to encourage and support you. One of the overall habits I'm personally trying to change is to focus more on the people who do take advantage of the value of the MeetUps I create, rather than focusing on and worrying about those who choose not to take advantage of the opportunities for personal and professional growth given by this group, and the chance to meet and interact with some very interesting and nice people.
