{Workshop} Sewing Machine Stitch Sampler

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:

Note: Anything underlined will be available for group use.

  • Your Sewing Machine
  • ThreadIn your desired color, though it's recommended to stick to something sturdy and close to a fiber type that you'd use on a regular basis.)
  • Material - In whatever size is appropriate for the number of stitches on your machine. It's recommended that lines for each row of stitches are spaced out in 1" increments. So for example my machine has 100 unique stitches, so so fit that all on one piece of fabric, I'll need almost a width of 3 yards. So instead of making one large tapestry, I might want to break this up into sections. Just something to think about in the planning phase. :) I'm planning on doing 4 pieces, with 25 stitches each, so I should only need about 1 yard of fabric.
  • Fabric Marking Pen - Preferably with disappearing or iron out ink
  • Embroidery Hoop or Frame(OPTIONAL!) -Feel free to bring this along or not. It would be awesome to see a ton of finished projects at the end of the workshop, but I understand if leaving this at home cuts down on the number of things needed to be carried around. :D

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
