Feb. 15-17 Hiking & Yoga in Pembrokeshire National Park Wales

  • Feb 15, 2013 · 6:00 PM

Exact address and directions will be sent later.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, one of Britain's breathing spaces, takes in about a third of the county including the entire coastal strip, the upper reaches of the Daugleddau (two swords) and the Preselis. It's the only National Park that is almost entirely coastal.

We are going to visit this stunning area for the first time with our group, combining Hiking, Biking & Yoga.

We usually have 3 hike leaders on each trip and 3 organised hikes/walks on every day with different length and pace, members may choose their routes according to their fitness and abilities.

There will be challenging enough or relaxed if you wish, for everyone. The routes are confirmed in the morning on a day, taking the latest weather broadcast into consideration.

If you would like to bring your own bike,

Then there, is also an option of doing a bike ride on one the 3 days , where we can explore the country lanes , with some sightseeing of some villages en-route.

Please bring your Helmet, bike lights, waterproof jacket and suitable bike clothing.

If you are not into hiking , you may join us for this event, be based with us and organise your own sightseeing trips in a car.

Soaring sea cliffs, long miles of golden sand, brooding hills and moorlands – the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park really does have enough scenery and atmosphere to please almost even the most discerning visitor.

Add in a touch of history and mysterious Celtic legend and you have an area that truly deserves the accolade, recently awarded by National Geographic Magazine, of being the second best coastal destination in the world. There are many who would say that the Park is worthy of the very top spot, not just second place – a point of view it's hard to ignore.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail twists and turns its way through 186 miles of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in Britain.

From St Dogmaels in the north to Amroth in the south, the trail covers almost every kind of maritime landscape from rugged cliff tops and sheltered coves to wide-open beaches and winding estuaries.

Hiking and Yoga is a great combination, we have had a few weekends in the past and they proved to be very popular.

Yoga can be fun and a very beneficial physical and mental work out.

Any level is welcome, classes will be tailored and suitable for the beginners and the advanced yoga practitioners as well.

Yoga sessions will take place in the morning and afternoon/evening.

The morning session will wake up and invigorate the body, targeting metabolism and body detoxification. While afternoon/evening yoga will be all about relaxation, emotional detachment and gentle stretching.

For those who don't fancy the great outdoors in the cold and wet, and never have enough of yoga, we have something extra to offer: a  yogalicous yoga workshop!

2 hrs -of additional play around headstands or arm balances!

the workshop will be tailored as per your personal needs and interests so just let us know!

For any yoga related questions, please email aneta on [masked] and/or check www.yoganeta.com

We will be based in a modern, single storey building set in its own grounds 300metres from the sea, having rented 3 star hostel just for our group.

This cliff top hostel offers fabulous ocean views, coastal paths and sandy beaches.

Price includes:

2 nights accommodation,
