CAI: Conversations About Investing

Also known as Computer-Aided Investing, the new name better reflects what we've been doing: having interesting conversations about all sorts of topics in the investing world.  Techniques, tips, training, securities, commodities, indexes, forex, computer programs, ETFs, ETC...  Whatever our members are interested in and bring to the table.  The agenda for each meeting is announced about a week before the meeting.

The  new place, Terwilliger Plaza, worked out well, with some interesting new attendees with lots to share.

Terwilliger Plaza, 2545 SW Terwilliger Blvd, Portland.  This is very close to the I-405 exits for SW Sixth Street. Pretend you are going to OSHU, and as you start the upgrade on Terwilliger Blvd, look to  your right and you'll see Terwilliger Plaza, where you want to end up.  Then look quickly to your left and you'll see an employee parking lot where you can park the car.  You can also take the ramp up to Terwilliger Plaza.  You may park there if there is space.  However you get there, and wherever you park, we must sign in at the receptionist's desk, and he or she will let you know which of their rooms we're specifically meeting in.

Our new schedule is:

6:45 PM Set up and member chat time.

7:00 PM Presenter(s) start.

8:45 PM End of meeting.

CAI = Conversations About Investing or Computer Assisted Investing. This group exists "to discuss information and opinions about financial matters, the economy, or investing topics, specifically of interest to the members."  Much of the content comes from the real time expertise, experience and new avenues of learning of the members.  WELCOME TO THE CLUB!  : - )

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
