One of the sad truths about the RPG hobby is that oh-so-many of us have oh-so-many different games we want to play, but rarely get the chance to try these games out.
The RPG Bazaar is a chance for people to play and run these rare gems, giving preference for smaller and indi-RPGs over the general industry monoliths. Generally, there will be 2 RPGs being run at the same time (between 2pm and 7pm). Games that have been "in rotation" have included D&D 3.5, Changeling: The Lost, Star Wars, Spycraft, Mutants and Masterminds, and 7th Sea, and we're always open to new games.
The fee ($5) is to provide funds for drinks/snacks/dinner and is waived for anyone who brings a sharable drink and snack.
Finally, I hope the Bazaar is an opportunity for people new to RPGs to be able to try them out, and for gamers who've only played one game to be exposed to a wide variety of game types and styles, with an emphasis on a fun atmosphere.
Since this is a private residence, I've disabled the 'Maybe' option so that people who are uncertain about showing up don't crowd-out the slots for people who definitely will be able to make it (in my experience, only about 10% of Maybes actually show up for any given event).
