If you do not tell me that you want pizza, we may not have enough. I know what Pat and John like. I know Steve will not want pizza. Does anyone else want to make any requests?
We now meet almost every Friday evening for games at my place. We will usually skip the second Friday of the month.
I plan to have one very simple dish available (often pizza at $5/person) so people will not have to go hungry, but you may want to bring your own food. We usually have a decent supply of drinks and snacks.
We have two dogs. They usually behave well enough, or else they get banished. Please move quickly from your car to the house; this reduces Bandit’s barking about your arrival.
RSVPs will be much appreciated. Last minute decisions are OK if you already know how to find our house.
Games played recently include Agricola, Railroad Tycoon, Power Grid, Stone Age, Glen More, Thurn and Taxis, Walnut Grove, St. Petersburg, Alhambra, and others that I do not recall at the moment.
Most games take 5 to 25 minutes to teach and 45 minutes to 2 hours to play, but we also have some very short games and a small number of longer games.
We have Navegador, Notre Dame, Thurn and Taxis, Walnut Grove; Settlers, Seafarers, Cities and Knights, and Explorers and Pirates of Catan; Through the Desert, Lowenherz,Tikal, Pandemic, Taj Mahal, Fresco, Blue Moon City, Ticket to Ride (U.S., Europe, Marklin, and Asia), Taluva, Agricola, Carcassonne with expansions, Blokus, Alhambra with expansions, Dominion with expansions, Yspahan, Power Grid (several maps), Ingenious, Web of Power, Age of Empires, Carcassonne with expansions, and many more.
