Eurogames in Springfield

We meet most Friday evenings for games at my place. We usually skip the second Friday of the month. Sometimes we have only 4 or 5 players. Sometimes we have three tables with 3 to 5 players at each table.

Most games take 5 to 25 minutes to teach and 45 minutes to 2 hours to play, but we also have some very short games and a small number of longer games. Sometimes we try a new game that someone brings.

About food:  Usually I order a vegetarian pizza. If two or three PEOPLE ASK A FULL DAY IN ADVANCE for another kind of pizza (e.g. pepperoni or plain cheese), I can order that, too. The cost usually comes to $5 for 2 or 2+ slices. I order pizza Mike and I may not like only if people tell me in advance that they want it. Attendance and food preferences vary, so TELL ME IN ADVANCE if you want pizza, or just bring what you want to eat.

We usually have a decent supply of drinks and snacks.

We have two dogs. They usually behave well enough, or else they get banished. Please move quickly from your car to the house; this reduces Bandit’s barking about your arrival.

RSVPs will be much appreciated. Last minute decisions are OK if you already know how to find our house.

We have Fresco, Navegador, Notre Dame, Thurn and Taxis, Walnut Grove; Settlers, Seafarers, Cities and Knights, and Explorers and Pirates of Catan; Through the Desert, Lowenherz,Tikal, Pandemic, Taj Mahal, Fresco, Blue Moon City, Ticket to Ride (U.S., Europe, Marklin, and Asia), Taluva, Agricola, Carcassonne with expansions, Blokus, Alhambra with expansions, Dominion with expansions, Yspahan, Power Grid (several maps), Ingenious, Web of Power, Age of Empires, Carcassonne with expansions, and many more.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
