- Come on, come all, to our first official partnering with the Beatley Library. They reached out and asked for help in making their first International Game Day a success, and we don't know how to say no to the people who give us free books.
- This one will be a bit different (better) than normal: The library staff is having a big ole' International Game Day, and asked the AARGGH to partner. Throughout the library will be a few gaming stations. We won't have the big meeting room, due to something called an "absentee voting," but we will be everywhere else!
- As always, boardgames of all types, makes, models, and flavors are welcome. Eurogames, card games, strategy games, social games, bring em all. Or, bring nothing and let one of our experienced game hosts teach a new game.
- Pot-luck snacks and drinks. Please bring a small delicious thing to share. As we will have largely free run of the library, we have been asked to keep food and most drinks in the small meeting room, though covered drinks in the rest of the library is OK.
Oh! If you want to officially volunteer to run a game and want the Librarians of Beatley to plan for it, please reach out to one of the Organizers you've seen lately. Like me.
