Please join advocates all across Louisiana at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge on Equal Pay Day - April 8, 2014 - for a lobby day! Equal Pay Day is the symbolic day when women's wages finally catch up with what men earned the year before.
We'll lobby our legislators, advocate for equal pay at our press conference, and network with other powerful women. Best of all, participation in these activities is completely free, and your only expense is your lunch! Feel free to bring your own from home or order lunch with us. RSVP to reserve your spot and order boxed lunch for the April 8th lobby day!
AAUW Louisiana is proud to lobby alongside the following organizations on April 8: Louisiana League of Women Voters, Louisiana Federation of Business and Professional Women, Legislative Agenda for Women, NOLA NOW, Louisiana Solidarity Project Advocacy Network, United for Equality, and YWCA of Greater Baton Rouge.
This is your opportunity to be a part of meaningful change that impacts women across our great state. Please confirm your attendance by midnight on April 3.
