Following from Stephanie Coontz’ talk at the September branch meeting about the strange stirrings of the early women’s movement we’ll bring our thoughts and experiences and get caught up on the current state of things. Are we better off than our mothers? Does feminism matter today? Which women can have it all? Which women are struggling to have just some of it? Are there any young feminists? What is post-feminism and how can we recognize it? Is feminism relevant? a dirty word? Come and discuss!
