Half Moon Lake, Hell, MI
The plan is to meet at 6:30, be in the water by 7 and have our usual after dive social with food and refreshments.
Don't forget your diver floats, flashlights and a slate is a good idea to record the cards you find. Hope to see you there!
I expect the water to be cold and dark at depth so dress warmly (I recommend hoods) and bring good underwater lights. Don't forget your dive floats (DNR required) and dive slates. Communicating in the dark underwater can be quite a challenge even with a slate.
The easiest way to get to Half Moon Lake is to take US 23 to N. Territorial Rd (west) to Hankerd Rd (north) then follow the signs to the park and parking lot. There is a pavilion that we hope to use near the parking lot. It is a little hike to the water, but nothing that we haven't walked before.
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
