Book Title & Author: The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
Please refer to this site's discussion board for the corresponding discussion question for this month's selection.
PLEASE REVIEW THIS GROUPS 'RULES, REGULATIONS, AND SUGGESTIONS' (FOUND UNDER THE 'PAGES' SECTION OF THIS SITE) PRIOR TO SUBMITTING YOUR RSVP FOR THIS EVENT.
PLEASE BE SURE TO PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING:
Rule #1 Regarding this group's 'RSVP Policy and Process' (Paraphrased Below...)
"Members are required to keep their RSVP CURRENT at all times. ‘No Shows’ and/or repeated last minute/short notice RSVP changes will be monitored closely, and can potentially result in a member being permanently removed from the group"
Rule #2 Regarding our 'Policy and Procedure for Specifying Your Potluck Contribution' (Paraphrased Below...)
"Please state in the ‘Comment’ section of YOUR RSVP (NOT THE COMMENT SECTION AT THE BOTTOM OF THISPAGE) what food or beverage item that you intend to bring to the meet-up to share with the rest of the group. Before doing so, please read the comments that others have included in their RSVPs (found underneath their name and picture in the column on the right hand side of this page) so that we do not end up with all of a particular item, and none of something else. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!"
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE RULES CAN INITIALLY RESULT IN TEMPORARY SUSPENSION FROM THE GROUP, AND ULTIMATELY (IF VIOLATIONS PERSIST) PERMANENT REMOVAL FROM THE GROUP.
Please do not hesitate to call me at (407)[masked] if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about this meet-up event, or the group in general. When attempting to contact me, please keep in mind that I am much quicker about responding to phone calls than to electronic communications (i.e. e-mail, meet-up messages, etc...)
Finally, regarding my home - I live in the Winter Park/Casselberry area (in the Eastbrook subdivision, between Howell Branch Road and Aloma Avenue). I have two (Russian Siberian) cats, which are supposedly 'hypoallergenic'. They are friendly but generally tend to keep to themselves. I also have ample driveway and street parking.
