What do Warblers Eat?, presented by Mike Quinn.
While quantitatively collecting almost 50,000 invertebrates in western Travis Co. over the course of two summers (and in 16 summers since), we learned a thing or two about what Golden-cheeked Warblers eat... We also learned what 50,000 invertebrates eat!
Over the course of the last year, I have revisited my master's research by conducting invertebrate surveys at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, Austin, TX. This evening I will give the most in-depth public discussion of my master's research since my thesis defense in 2000.
Here are some of the graphs and images I will be discussing: http://picasaweb.google.com/entomike/WildBasin#

You may arrive up to 15 minutes early to chat with other bug lovers. The meeting begins shortly after 7pm. We start with members sharing observations, do a little bit of club business, and then begin the presentation. The presentation is usually an hour long, and we're typically closing the meeting between 8:30 and 9:00pm.
Your RSVP is not required, but those who RSVP will receive email reminders and allow people to learn about other members.
