Sorry, last minute work project has me out of town. See everyone next time!
I can't make it tonight (which REALLY sucks) but I just got home after working 4 12 hour night shifts in a row. I won't be safe to drive tonight.
I have read more poems of a material about Keats this last month that I ever expected to!
A few notes: I found this novel to be much more visual to me than the first one. At one point there's a completely inane character at a party that talks about War as Art. I found this interesting- not so much as an idea itself, but I felt the author was rejecting a lot of modern ideas/art forms with the exaggeration. It felt reactionary- that what was is so much better than what is. And yes, I know it was mostly to illustrate the gross uselessness/cluelessness of most people in the Hegemony.
I really like that I really never had any idea what was going to come next- it was always a surprise!
I am recovering from bronchitis and will spare you my unpleasant coughing. Hope to see you next month.
I will be returning from Ruidoso on Monday- might not be able to make it.
