Relationship between psychology and philosophy

You will NOT want to follow the google map in the link above as that is wrong.  Here are the correct directions:

North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center (7521 Carmel NE, Albuquerque, NM), which is easiest to find by heading North on Wyoming from Paseo Del Norte, then turning left onto Carmel. The Multigenerational Center is on the right. Here is the phone number for the center in case you get lost: [masked].

What is the relation between psychology and philosophy?

Does the way an individual's brain process have a significant influence on his philosophical views?

Are there patterns that you can see   in their view of philosophy based on whether they are right- or left-brain dominant?

Do individuals who are better able to cross over into their non-dominant side have a broader understanding than those who are not?

It should make for a fun and interesting discussion. Feel free to add links and comments.

Here's a couple of light-hearted links to get started. You may be able to find other links and maybe find some empirical data on it.

it was a good one...really value & appreciate the thoughtful interrogation of these Big Picture concepts by bright people...yummy snacks (w/Bonus Points to the home-made bread!)

The group was a mixture of those who had previously attended & those coming for the first time. The discussion focused on each person self-disclosing about their main beliefs & their life journey that brought them to this group. The openess was unusually frank, & the group reaction was quite accepting & supportive. This group could become quite cohesive in a short periof of time, & it bodes well for future discussions. Thanks to Dianne for organizing & leading the meetup.
