Family Mathematics Festival !!

Alameda-Contra Costa Council of MathEducators (AC3ME) invites you to attend a California Mathematics Council Family Mathematics Festival! Come experience this wonderful community MATH LEARNING activity.

Join the students and families of Ocean View Elementary School and members of the Alameda Contra Costa Math Educators for an evening of interesting and challenging hands-on math activities designed for families of kindergarten through 5th grade students.

~ This event is free and open to all ACME members* ~

*Since we are guests of Ocean View School, you must RSVP BY MONDAY NOVEMBER 4th if you wish to attend. You are welcome to bring your own school-age children along with you to enjoy the Family Math Festival, but please let us know how many when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

A sample packet of CMC Family Mathematics Festival hands-on activities will be provided to those teachers attending this event.

ACME is also looking for a few table volunteers to help us host this event—no expertise needed! We promise that your volunteer work will be easy and fun, and that you'll be able to enjoy the Family Mathematics Festival along with everyone else. If you're willing, let me know and show up a bit early!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
