Margaret is a very experienced IT practitioner with a track record of over 30 years in IT covering every aspect of the systems lifecycle. Over the last 12 years she has successfully used Agile to deliver business value in several large and complex organisations and latterly as an Agile coach has worked with a number of big companies to explore how they can accommodate and embrace Agile working. She is a committed Agile enthusiast who understands the impact of Agile on both the techies and the managers in IT. She describes herself as a responsible rebel who loves to question and challenge the status quo, especially in those big, well-established organisations.
So when she asks you ‘Are you still waiting for the Green Man?’ it’s not just about crossing the road, it’s about your attitude to doing the right thing at the right time with the appropriate amount of risk and responsibility. Do you challenge the processes and tools that are deployed in your work environment, or do you ‘wait for the Green Man’ to give you permission to cross the road?
This session will challenge you to be a responsible rebel, encouraging your teams and organisations to question the use of processes and tools that may be impairing truly agile thinking and behaviour
