“ Last year I was thankful to join this group of people who are atheist/ non-religious. However, after a year, frequent visits to the ACT website, FaceBook page & YouTube channel, there really doesn't seem to be much activity (very little on meetup) - nearly non-existent overall. Admittedly, I haven't attended any DWA meetings (not much of a drinker), social dinners, or any "atheist" (ACT) events (I'm a closet atheist to my family). There just doesn't seem to be much of activity beyond the small groups of drinking, dinner, bowling, & book study. With over 1200 Atheists on here - more is expected. Like a REAL social group that is organized toward being a community (like our religious counterparts). ACT seems to have peaked in 2012, & slowly dwindled to a small crowd. I expected more meetings for people who are interested in things like debating, philosophy, science, uploading regular vids to Youtube, fundraising, family-oriented events, etc. Maybe things will pick up in 2016. ”

“ We fell upon the hoary beast, and slew it with fell words, it lay now minced to pieces, its threat now weak and burned. //B.A. will never be the same, as we did slay the beasts, Trump and Carson, god and man, and all things in between.//If you missed the nights small victory you need not be alarmed, as in a week, a month or so, come next time, just come armed!! “ I have met some Awesome people and made many friends in the group. The last 2 years have been the best and most fun times of my life. It is fantastic to be involved with a group of like-minded individuals that don't judge me on my non-belief. ACT is also involved in Humanist activities such as feeding the homeless and Highway cleanup, Adopt-a Mile. ACT is open to all individuals and we do not judge. ”

“ We might be "cats" (as in difficult to organize) but we don't have to be anti-social. Becausw; no man is (or should be) an island; even an atheistic man. All that is necessary for evil (organized religions) to triumph is that good men do nothing; And:If you are not part of the solution to the menace posed by fundamentalist religions -- you are part of the problem associated with fundamentalist religions. ”

“ The Atheist Community of Tulsa (ACT) is one of the most active groups of its kind in the nation, hence the acronym "ACT." The leaders in this group, notably William, have spearheaded countless initiatives that showcase the good in atheists and educate the common public about non-believers. William is a creative, articulate, and strong leader; he is a great ambassador for atheists everywhere. ACT is a great model for how atheist organizations ought to be run. ”

“ Looking forward to meeting members of the group interested in supporting peace, and standing up for their First Amendment rights, by standing with us at our demonstrations. TPF is non-sectarian, and includes non-religious activists. (The American Atheists, with which ACT is affiliated, has a strange logo: why the atomic reference? Time to revamp the logo? It looks dated; maybe from the 1950s?) ”

“ I thought it was rather chaotic. We were at one long table, but we were several groups at once. Where is the UNITY? We need to UNITE! I have yet to met you Kenny Nipp. See above for details. ”

“ Hi, my name is Ara Tidwell. I am from Austin, TX and new to Oklahoma. I am currently living in Eufuala, OK. I can't write an essay as I am in a hurry... But bottom line, believing in god and religion is a symtom of skitzophrenia. God does exist, as humanities greatest delusion. I really wish president Obama would address the issue that god is only a delusion brought on by religion and that religion is simply a work of fictional art over time. ”

“ The people seem informed, and usually articulate. I personally would like to see more younger members. This group has a disproportionately large number of older members ... nothing wrong with that, I was just expecting a different balance. ”
