Back by popular demand are the Thursday Night Ice Cream Training Rides. For the next seven weeks, we will ride 25-27 miles out to McFarland and back. We will stop for delicious ice cream sundaes and root beer floats, satisfying our desire for something cold and tasty all the while support the AIDS Network .
UCC church in McFarland sponsors the ice cream social, half the money raised through the summer go to AIDS Network and half the a local food pantry. The ice cream is donated by Schoepps and toppings from Culvers!
Join us for a nice chance to train, visit with other riders, AND eat ice cream! Beginners welcome (and encouraged)!
Reminders: Helmets required. Please pump up your tires at home. Bring full water bottles. Dress appropriately for the weather (removable layers are always good). If you are riding home afterwards, make sure you have your lights
Arrival Time: 5:15PM to assemble your bike and sign in.
Safety Speech: 5:25 PM (you must be physically and mentally present)
Ride-out: 5:30 PM
