One of the topics that we need to discuss is how to keep the BAAUG membership up to date on hotfixes/updates/service packs that Swiftpage releases for ACT. It would also help if we were able to have easier access to share triumphs, tragedies, successes, and failures about ACT with each other.

In regards to just ACT update notice push system, the best method is create shortcut to the download Web page and take q quick peak. Because you would not implement an update until your ready. Especially if there is a network of ACT users accessing DB or remote sync sessions. For me tread careful on performing updates.

Your last sentence pretty much zeroes in on the point I'm trying to make. Bud has told me in previous conversations that not even the ACCs know that there are hotfixes, updates, and service packs ready on the ACT.com site. That needs to change and hopefully under Swiftpage's ownership it will. The name of our group is the Bay Area ACT User Group. Other than bi-monthly meetings what other services, information sharing, etc. should we be seeing. If Bud were to advise us of a new hotfix, update, etc. and give us an opinion as to whether or not it had merit for us to download, that would be I believe a real dividend (and selling point) for people to join and be active in our BAAUG.
