Sunday ride, 2 routes in 1 easy and easier!!!

On Sunday, we will meet at the Fish Hatchery Parking lot at 9:00 a.m. Our first ride will be around Lake Natoma, (approx 12 miles and very minimal climbing. We will return back to the Fish Hatchery and those who want to depart can.

The 2nd ride group will continue out of the fish hatchery and out to Gold Country Blvd. We will ride the street in the wide bike lane to Sunrise and drop down onto the the AR Bike Trail, but first we will cross the bridge to Bridge Street and venture into Fair Oaks Village. We can stop at a local coffee place for coffee and a snack before heading back to bike trail.

Depending on what the group would like to do, we can continue down the bike trail and decide where to turn around. Not a hard ride, but can shake out the bugs in the legs and get ready for the Kickoff Event the following Saturday, 2/23.

Remember to wear helmets, bring a tire patch kit or tube and air, and of course snacks. It's important to refuel while riding before it's too late. (Bonking is not good)

Ready??? Let's ride!
