Our training ride will be 20 miles along the American River Parkway, it will go out 10 miles downstream and turn around and coming back upstream along the same path. For this ride we hope that everyone can come out and stretch your legs and have a good ride at whatever pace you choose and do not feel the need to complete the entire distance, the turnaround point will be up to you if you don’t feel up to the entire distance. I am hoping for everyone to ride at a pace that they are comfortable and more than likely there will be a group of more advanced riders if you want to ride fast. Please bring water, snacks and sunscreen for your ride.
Also, please wear your Red Rider Jersey, if you have one.

If anyone wants additional miles, I can lead a group around Lake Natoma when we return for an extra 12 miles, or a longer route with a few climbs. We can discuss when we return.
