Ride a few hills and do a little climbing

Let's leave from the Fish Hatchery Parking lot at 8:30, head up to Iron Point in Folsom and climb up and over Costco hill to Empire Ranch, left on Empire Ranch and through Folsom and EDH. If anyone wants, Beatty is calling!

We'll stop at the park in EDH for a break and water, then continue on to Beal's Point. Head back to the start and call it a day!

Should be about 25 or 30 miles with some elevation. I can't remember exactly right now, but it's not a simple flat ride, that's for sure.

Bring water, snacks, and a positive attitude and you'll be just fine.

Here is a map of the route as I remember it from last year. Ignore the sharp decent & climb at 18.2 miles unless you aren't staying on the bridge. Google shows the route next to the bridge. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2365989

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
