Hi, I am long time bike rider and have a fairly new type 2 diagnosis. I've lost a lot good amount of weight from my diabetes and lifestyle changes which consequently, has been good for my bike riding. Bicycling is also a favorite pass time of mine.

I have diabetes. I'd like to held stop diabetes not only for myself but also to bring awareness to the disease. I think there are a lot of misconceptions about diabetes that most people really don't understand about the disease and people with the disease.
I've been diabetic for a little over two years and have been frustrated by the condition. I'd like to bring about more awareness of the disease and to develop a a better understanding of how to live with it.
