Himalaya

This place is tiny!  So the group size will be kept small.  Please arrive on time or early to ensure seating for everyone.

From yelp: "In a plaza full of full of tasty food Himalaya is a stand-out.  Two of us had the lamb biryani, Mirchon Ka Salan and naan (of course).

Not to sound uppity or anything but I have been to India and experienced many wonderful flavors and dishes.  That being said, the Mirchon Ka Salan was as incredible as any entree that we've had.   The lamb biryani was just as it should be, with moist, flavorful pieces of meat. It was a big enough portion for us to take home and make a whole other meal out of.

The service was good. We came at lunch and there was plenty of staff bustling around keeping the flow.  The gentleman behind the counter (assuming he was the owner or manager) was very nice when we went to pay the bill.  He recognized  that we had never been there before and made sure that everything was to our liking.  He even comped us a dessert to try!  We assured him that we were well satisfied with the meal.  It's those kinds of little things that will get us back in the door quickly."

food was good however service was slow and owner charged us for food that we didn't order and wouldn't take charges off. Always an adventure when you almost leave your host there to be the dish washer...;)
