Hi my name is Raemelle. I am an highly intelligent person. I haven't been diagnosed as of yet, but I know I have ADHD. I have an appointment made to be diagnosed for 12/29/2011. I feel so all alone because I have a lot to offer and no one to listen..
I would like to learn from others what's been going on in their lives, how they handled not being excepted, being teased, etc. I would also like to bring forth new ideas for us to all cope and do better in our lives.....
I haven't been able to keep a job throughout my life. I never knew I had ADHD until I read the symptoms about it, and I realized that I had all of the above symptoms, lol. I raised my two children by myself and did a kind of good job. They both are smart, and doing okay in life. My problem did make it kind of hard for us because I didn't have descent jobs that paid enough for us to make it. We got by on pins and needles. My siblings teased, and always put me down, because I wasn't doing well in life, right to this day. I'm really smart in my own way. I'm an entrepreneur and has always been, but I'm not as intelligent in the important ways as far as administration, talking to business people, etc. With people not taking me serious I usually not succeed. I'm 55 yrs old and I'm not giving up on my dreams and goals. I would like to meet other people with the same issues and we show to the world that we are special, but in an positive way.
I'd say one good thing about ADHD is that we don't take no for an answer. We're different from the so-called norm. Yes I know we sometimes do things without thinking it through, but that's what makes us to be young at heart; doing some things that young people do. We have a lot of good ideas about a lot of things. We're always thinking about what can we do next. And one day we're going to prove that having ADHD isn't that bad after all. I can't wait to be a part of this group and move out to the New York area.

Welcome to Mature Naturals Raemelle, we are glad to have you join us. Our primarily focus is education on natural hair. What works for me may not work for you. We also focus on health . Your hair may not be bra strap length but is it healthy? You are facing the same challenges all Mature naturals face, thinning hair due to age , hormones and taking medication. One of my favorites things to say is "you do you." So right now it pleases me to wear my hair short and natural with a little color.
