Delta Green is a modern-day setting for the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game which takes place in the mid-to-late 1990s.
The game revolves around a fictitious secret organization called Delta Green, spearheaded by elements of the United States government. Its members are dedicated to combating the mind-rending horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos.
The organization works undercover by contacting and gathering members across the wide range of U.S. government agencies like the FBI, CIA,ATF, CDC, and DEA.
It appears to have "gone rogue" somewhere between the 1960s and the 1980s following a disastrous operation in Cambodia and the "deal" struck by the Reagan administration with the "Greys" via the offices of the Majestic-12 governmental UFO conspiracy group.
If you like Call of Cthulhu and the X-Files, this is the one for you.
It's open to newbies and veterans. You can pop in for the occasional game or play every time..there will be a loose campaign "arc" to the games but each session works on it's own too.
This game happens on a saturday, every four weeks. It will conclude in the next three or four sessions.
In this, the third Delta Green scenario, "A" Cell have concerns about the same cells working together on high profile cases.
This time, the cells (player groups) will be given separate assignments, played in parallel in the same session
One cell will be given a mission regarding a strange find by the US Postal Inspection Service.
Another cell will be given a special small assignment by the new "Agent Alphonse". His predecessor, who died in the last game, had a cabin in the woods. The task is to clear his cabin of any evidence of Delta Green.
And if we have a third cell? Details will be given on the day...
