Earthdawn!

Returns from an unplanned hiatus. Our characters are smugly standing over the bodies of the vanquished cult members. But who are they? And why a puppy?

I did! We'll be switching over to 4th when it comes out. Of course, we'll have to see how it plays, but I'm pretty excited about what I've seen on the forums. Right now we are using 3ed revised. We meet every other Sunday at 1 at Challenges, so not this week but the next. Certainly have room for another!

Oh man, wish I had seen this earlier. I love Earthdawn. Did you guys sign up for the Kickstarter for the FASA 4th Ed?

Hey Christopher - not territorial at all. The more gamers, the better. We play every other week and I usually have a couple pre made characters for people to join in. Challenges is great that way. We meet every other Sunday at 1, which should be pretty stable for a while. I personally can't meet more than that to join a different campaign. But some of the others might. However, we've talked about swapping out GMs at the end of every story arc or so.

I have also been very interested in getting a game started here in the Decatur area. Are you guys terribly territorial about that sort of thing? Are you open to allowing new players and possibly joining in another campaign using a different system?

I would have loved to attend, however I have a prior commitment today. Is this location and time a regular happening?

Oh! and here is a good intro by one of the current developers of the game: http://pandagaminggrove.blogspot.com/2012/08/earthdawn-part-1-introduction.html

Hello Ally again. Sorry about the gap - I have news! But I'll tell you Sunday.

Hey J - any preferences for character type? I'll bring some pre-mades so you can start playing right off. Earthdawn was pretty heavily influenced by DnD, so take that as a start. Races are dwarf, elf, troll, ork, human (pretty much what you might expect from shadow run), Windling (fairy type) Obsidimen (massive elemental earth creatures), and T'skrang, (lizard folk). Disciplines - Weaponsmith, Swordmaster, Warrior, Troubadour, Archer, Beastmaster, Wizard, Elementalist, Illusionist, Nethermancer (i.e. necromancer), cavalryman, scout . . . Sky Raider, Air Sailor . . . I think that's it. Name a couple combinations and I'll adapt some of the sample characters.
