From late October to Twelfth Night the village of Brockmoor is cut off from the rest of the world by fen and fog. Few know a safe route through the treacherous bogs and waterways at the best of times, but when the land is wreathed in a dark mist none can pass and live to tell the tale. The sunken bones of the careless litter the surrounding
landscape. This is a bleak place, cold and lonely.
A Traveller, cloaked and hooded, arrives at the Dun Cow Inn late one night. They are unremarkable except for the strange ring on their finger set with a swamp-colored stone.
It is a full week before the fog is due to descend, but the next morning, a thick white blanket wreathes the village and now the Traveller must stay until January. But, is the Traveller trapped or are the villagers locked in with the secretive newcomer?
This is a game of folk horror and mystery exploring 3 questions:
Who is the Traveller, do they pose a threat and if so, how?
What are the secrets of the village and its strange inhabitants?
What supernatural horror lurks in the mist, endangering stranger and local alike?
