I prefer games that focus on role-playing and experience based on what people do rather than how many opponents they slay. As such I like Palladium because of the way it handles xp. I also like skill based games rather than level based games.
I live in Tucker, GA, NE of Atlanta, just outside the perimeter. I'd be willing to travel about 30 minutes to or from a game. Basically I can hit most of metro Atlanta except for Cobb county.
Any during the summer, varies during the school year.
How old is chainmail? A lot simpler back then and frankly games were developed more for people to play rather than for companies to sell back then. Internet has made development of games a bit easier, but there are fewer players.
Either is fine with me. I don't have the AD&D books so I'd probably run something else.
Old school gamer. Familiar with a number of gaming styles.
Always good to get together and find like minded people. If you like to game it's a decent crowd.
