Wow, that's awful!  I'm really really sorry that happened to you.  At
other meetups it's usually really obvious and cut and dry who the
meetup group is.  At this place, there was the Warhammer (or whatever)
gaming people all over the place, so it was a bit hard to tell who was
who.  The Warhammer people seemed annoyed that we were there, and I am
sure a lot of us were not really happy that the Warhammer people were
there.  So probably some Warhammer people thought you were one of us,
but we thought you were one of the Warhammer people. :(

Either way, sorry about the confusion.  I hope you do try to come to
another meetup, and we'll try to make it more obvious the next time.
