Clarification on directions
follow directions from web page for Princeton Office:
http://www.njredcross...
3 items:
1) DO NOT wait to see a sign for "707 Alexander Court" or for "American Red Cross", when coming from Rt 1 - you can't really see the signs until it is too late (Because of the snow ; )
Just follow directions, be in the left turn lane, and turn in what I believe is the first left after the first light after Rt 1.
2) When you come into the Red Cross parking lot, go all the way to the far back bulding, in the right side door. You want to see and follow signs for Blood Services.
3) If you get misdirected, call my cell, BEFORE class starts at 1pm. [masked]. I will put someone in charge of my phone to help with directions, I will be too busy to do it. If you are good with directions, or know the area, please volunteer to assist with this.
See you tomorrow!!

Please note the new date/time/location for this event and update your RSVP accordingly---I WILL be in attendence and acting as hostess tommorow---Namaste, Cassie
OK, looks like there will be a window in snowstorms, so we can enjoy getting together to meditate the Saturday the 13th!! Looking forward to seeing you all. Please update your status, so I acn have a clue as to how many folks are participating
There has been a lot of tumult in the creation of this event, if you would like to see all the details in one reasonable page, you can go here
The only changes I have made to original plans - besides date, time and place (
ha! see below)
are 2 details that may interest you:
1) It will probably remain cold, and possibly uncomfortable to get out to walk around, to get some space and air… Therefore, I will bring a ‘boom box’, available to turn on over breaks, if folks want to dance and have a bit of fun, to let off steam! If you have a dance cd you enjoy, bring it along…
2) Networking Table: Please bring biz cards, fliers, samples, product, etc to share about your business, charities, or fun activities in which you participate. I will set up a table or two on the side or in the back, for you to share your info. I obviously don’t want it to take any time/energy from the workshop, nor have anyone experience any hard-sell or pushing… an energy of sharing and opening opportunities for networking is beneficial.
Ok, see ya soon!! Wendy
Ok, I am going with the flow, folks
Happy Snow Day!!
I have rescheduled Meditation workshop for: Sat Feb 13th
Right now, this seems to be the new plan… Details of the workshop remain the same, with these exceptions:

Princeton, NJ 08540
see direction here: http://www.njredcross...
Time: 1 – 7 pm
Please arrive after 12:30 and before 1pm.
If you choose to leave early, for scheduling reasons, or because you have had enough for the day, you are welcome to do so at break times, which start approximately 2, 3:30, and 5:30.

Here's the final plan:
Welcome to Introduction to ReNew You! Meditation Workshop
Some folks have expressed concern with the length of the workshop
1) there are 4 hours of class, and lots of body breaks: 2 - half hour breaks, and an hour ‘meal’ break in the middle.
2) it is a beginner workshop, we will not be meditating all 4 hours! We will be learning, sharing, doing exercises, and meditating. It will not be a forced march!
3) if you choose to leave early, for scheduling reasons, or because you have had enough for the day, you are welcome to do so at break times, which start approximately 1:30, 3, and 5.
Potluck Food:
As I said, there are 2 breaks and a long ‘meal’ break. We will need some sustenance - meditating is hungry work ; )
Please bring a main dish, salad, appetizer, dessert or some snacks. Please make it something simple, that can just sit out on the table or on the stove/oven. And BYO Beverage, if want something besides water, for yourself or to share. There is availability to make coffee and tea – if you want to make that happen, as your potluck contribution, let me know.
Please bring serving utensil if needed for your potluck, as well as (at least) a bowl, spoon and cup in a bag for your meal (yes, like at Scout Camp ; ) – this will save on waste and make clean-up easy… If you end up utilizing resources from the kitchen (or anywhere else), please take responsibility to clean and return them.
Other things you may want to consider:
· Sealed water bottle to use while in class. Meditation helps us release on an energetic level, which causes physical/emotional changes. I often detox and need to drink a lot - everyone has a different experience.
· You will have time during breaks to walk around, it you want to stretch your legs and get some air. Please bring outerwear to support you in this.
· Everyone has different temperature regulation - please wear layers to class, as you sit, it is useful to keep your temperature comfortable and nurturing for your body. I developed the habit in seminary of using a lap-blanket when I meditate – you can bring one or use your coat if needed.
· You will be sitting with your back straight and your feet on the floor. There are 2 dozen ‘more comfortable’ chairs, the rest are folding chairs. If you own a chair that you would prefer sitting in all day, bring it along. This meditation may be different than what you are used to – I request that you do not cross your legs or sit on the floor.
· Some folks like to add a thin cushion to their seat, and/or (particularly shorter folks) a cushion to raise their feet to a comfortable level while they are sitting - feel free to bring some cushions/pillows with you, or not.
· Cash or check – I will have books and tapes available for sale (at my cost) if you find you are interested. Also, I am offering this workshop by freewill donation; I am counting on your generosity!
Here is further info about the course, if you would like to know more:
Engaging in this meditation is a definitive step in your spiritual life. As you apply what you learn in this workshop, I hope you will find this experience will support you to deepen your relationship with yourself, others, and Spirit; as well as ‘own’ your life in a new way.
Some of you may find this workshop and your proceeding meditations to be to be pure fun and ease. Others of you may find more ‘issues’ than usual coming up for you, before, during, and after this workshop. Most likely, it will be a mixed bag ; )
No matter your experience of the next few weeks, please consider being gentle with yourself and keeping going - you will be rewarded in your inner life and the rest of your life. Some suggestions, starting now:
· Allow yourself some quiet time each day.
· Invest in nurturing your body and doing nice things for yourself.
· Make it a priority to get plenty of sleep.
· Consider making room in your schedule over the next couple weeks – before, during and after our workshop - to relax and enjoy your life!
Again, we practice short, guided meditations; where I give info to support your meditation practice and your life in general. We have time for interaction and processing of what you are doing and learning. We also schedule regular break times, to support the needs of your body and enjoy a respite. Most people enjoy the day very much!
Lastly, at this point, there are a couple spaces left in this intensive - if you know someone who may be interested, please pass on this link: http://wendyrwolf.com... It is fun to participate with friends, and then meditate with them on your own, sometimes, after class…
I would be happy to answer questions you have, and support you to show up and fully participate next Saturday. For questions, comments, concerns, appreciations… please contact me directly: (preferably) [masked], or [masked]
Look forward to seeing you!
