[4PM - 7PM Event duration]
For those looking for an event that's relatively low key, fun and social, come along to a great place to play board games!
Please bring a board game of your choice, it's a great way to have a lot of fun with good company as well as finding out how to play some of those board games you may not have played yet!
Any board game is welcome, examples are: Cranium, Balderdash!, Taboo, catch phrase, mastermind, trivial pursuit, scrabble.......
As the owner is graciously allowing us to spend considerable time at their establishment, each attendee is required to purchase at least one item.
Please come by and let's get this event back in a regular slot on those lazy Sundays when you may not have much going on.
Note: Inclemental weather will cancel this event, I will post a weather update, if applicable, by Sunday morning.
Looking forward to seeing folks there!
Your host
Sadna
Post event: Anyone who's interested, we can gather for dinner after the event. We can find good options at local eateries, all within walking distance. E.g. There's a great brick oven pizzaria and Chinese with affordable menu options.
Parking Logistics:
Parking at meters in Metuchen on Sundays is free. There is also a large commuter parking lot availabe at New Street and Pearl Street where you can also park at any of the metered spots for free on Sundays.
An event I can walk to :-) Great ice cream flavors - If I can find Scattergories, is there any interest in that?
Scattergories is fun! I have Pictionary, Balderdash and Tri-bond. I can bring one or all 3 depending on interest. Taboo is another great group game, if anyone has that!
Hi anyone thinking this event is full, there will be no shows guaranteed. Please come by, thanks.
sorry we were not able to make it today - my nephew was in a car accident - sorry for the late notice - hope to make the next one
Thanks to all who did attend, about 25 turned out, a lot of fun.
Pam, sorry to hear of your family situation, hope he is ok, hope to see you at the next one.
Sadna, thanks for the note - he is banged up but back home and healing - looking forward to meeting you at the next event
Hi someone from Sunday's event who went on for pizza afterwards left their scrabble case game at Antonios. I just picked it up, it's with me so reach out to me to arrange to pick it up etc. thnks Sadna
Sadna, I sent you an Email saying the scrabble set in the case that was left at Antonios Feb 12th was mine, and asking what is a convenient way I can get it from you, but I haven't heard anything back from you.
Neil
I just learned an old game and I love it-Rummy Cubes. Any interest?
