I was very into game programming until about 6 years ago (I know, ancient history, we chiseled the binary onto stone tablets while fending off pterodactyls), when I abruptly stopped having free time (because children). I miss dabbling.
C++, C, C#, Java, DirectX, some other stuff the youngsters have never heard of, MIDI, Cakewalk (at least I think I still have a copy around here someplace. I also have a Privia PX350).
A few small ones no one has heard of, just tinkering. Was the crafting/spellcasting/item use programmer on an Ultima Online shard emulator (in my defense, this was before they realized they should prohibit that sort of thing in the TOS). I also wrote the Sound and Music chapter of Game Programming Tricks of the Trade, was the technical editor of Game Audio (refused to author it), and gave a couple of classes at the XGDC (is that even still a thing? LaMothe's convention.) Composed a few tracks for friends who were also working on tiny games you've never heard of.
I'm fiddling around with my Transformer Prime (android) using AIDE currently.
Sure, but schedule is iffy (see also: children)
Programming, music, fixing other people's grammar (but only if they want me to ;) ) I've done a little Truespace when I really had to, but generally speaking it's probably not a good idea for the sake of humanity (I am very much not an artist.)
